A view over the city

Tietomaa's most visible landmark is the 45 metres high tower, which was completed in the 1920's
to be the water tower for the leather factory.

With the glass elevator built to access the tower,
you can go up to a landing, which is inside the tower in 35 metres and commands a magnificent view over the city of Oulu. It is best to come down from the tower by stairs and see the astronomy exhibition and the hologram gallery on the way.

Since the tower is closed at least 15 minutes before Tietomaa's closing time, please, visit the tower and its exhibitions well before closing time.
